Proper waterproofing — known as tanking — is applied before tiling, so water can't penetrate the structure. It's the single most important part of a wet room, and we never cut corners on it.
A straightforward bathroom can take one to two weeks; a kitchen, particularly with structural work or an extension, takes longer. We give you a clear programme before we start so you know what to expect.
